  • Because the great majority of the members of the Birmingham Baptist Church seem to possess a gift for making and sustaining friendships, eighty percent or more of those who participate in a course in 'friendship evangelism' will see improvement in the areas of comfort, ability, confidence and proclivity with respect to their efforts in personal evangelism. Following a pre-test, the application of the course and two post-tests yielded the necessary data in this quasi-experiment. More than eighty percent of the participants improved in all areas.
