Abstrakt

This project addressed the challenge of connecting every member of a local church to a serving role that fits their God-given gifts and design. The purpose of this project, conducted with members of Grace Fellowship Church in Timonium, Maryland, was to determine the effectiveness of a 'SHAPE' workshop and follow-up to increase participants' motivation leading to service. A biblical blueprint for spiritual gifts from Ephesians 4 was studied as well as the functional approach to motivation. Results from the pre-test/post-test were mixed with some items showing statistical significant while the majority did not.
