Abstrakt

This study evaluates the application of Christian Schwarz's quality characteristics on the growth rate of a select group of plateaued and declining churches in southwest Florida. This research was an evaluative study in the experimental mode, which utilized a pre-, mid-, and post-test design with no comparison group. In addition to evaluating Schwarz, I looked at the impact of contextual factors such as the growth/decline of the area's economy and divisions in the church. Finally, I examined the consulting process itself to determine its value in assisting churches as they implement Schwarz.
