Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to create and provide a tool so that volunteers could be trained and used in the ministry at Faith Baptist Church in the areas of visitation and encouragement. The hypothesis for this project was that volunteers could develop the confidence and skills to do pastoral care if they are trained and used properly. Therre are many situations where pastoral care is indeed needed, but it is not necessary to be a trained professional in order to offer effective and competent spiritual advice, encouragement, and care.
