  • The book of Revelation not only speaks a word about today but actually offers a paradigm for a congregation's relation to culture. This preaching project made use of study sessions to introduce concepts such as the apocalyptic genre, Christ-culture models, and the confessing church theme. These sessions were followed by worship-preaching experiences. Pre- and post-tests and listening team questionnaires provided measurement of attitudes toward the literature and the issue of Christians relating to culture. The project also demonstrates a way to preach apocalyptic literature.
