  • This project integrates the theories of Matthew Fox's concept of co-creation and Donald Winnicott's concept of transitional space to evaluate the psychotherapeutic theory and practice of Anna Freud, Melanie Klein, and Virginia Axline. The goal was to construct a theologically and psychologically coherent model of child pastoral psychotherapy. The need for theological and psychological integration in the determination of psychotherapeutic method applies to pastoral psychotherapy with adults as well as with children.
