Abstrakt

This project proposes and prepares an elective course in homiletics for students in Bible colleges and seminaries, focusing on study and application of verbal and nonverbal communication skills in preaching. Verbal communication studies include use of the voice as an instrument, full vocal production, articulation, paralanguage, and oral interpretation. Nonverbal communication studies include proxemics (distance communication) and kinesics (body language). This course in sermon delivery includes lesson plans, a syllabus, and presentation materials.
