Abstrakt

The thesis of this major project argues that churches should organize themselves for effective effort in carrying out the Great Commission. This project demonstrates that it is possible to facilitate the process and establish a mission policy. The mission policy produced in this process is written not by academically prepared missiologists, but a local congregation and its leadership. The board of elders and the mission policy task force evaluated the entire process and the results of these surveys are reported. It is significant to articulate that these groups gave a favorable rating to the process of mission policy development which was undertaken.
