Abstrakt

The thesis of this project was to develop leadership skills through understanding the seven motivational gifts: prophecy, serving, teaching, exhortation, giving, organizing, and mercy. Each spiritual gift was presented through workshops, questionnaires, interviews, small group discussions, pre- and post-spiritual gifts survey, computerized and self-scoring individual spiritual gifts inventory. This study definitely changed the attitude and increased the awareness of different motivational gifts. It showed that high scores on spiritual gift tendencies may indicate a developed gift, but not necessarily the primary motivational gift. It revealed that dialogue and practice are very important in discovering motivational gifts.
