Abstrakt

This project deals with three areas. The need for loving relationships, realistic job expectations, and adequate compensation were addressed in the project. It was the desire of the writer to help educate key church leaders to understand and meet these needs so that their church might experience greater pastoral tenure. The project used interviews, questionnaires, committee reading, and dialogue as methods of study. The project resulted in the personnel committee planning to keep pastors five years or more.
