As members of the staff of Bethel Bible Church experience a developmentally based performance review process they will gain improved job clarity, better alignment with the church vision and greater satisfaction with their personal development. Interviews and scaled response statements were employed to assess changes throughout the process. The results indicated that developmentally based performance reviews did generate improved job clarity and aligned staff members with the church vision. However, improved satisfaction with personal development was not supported. Improvements diminished but were sustained to some degree for three months in job clarity and alignment with the vision.
