Abstrakt

This project argues that imparting knowledge and skills must be joined with the formation of character in order to successfully train preachers who are bona fide Christian leaders and that the formation of character best happens in a relational environment. Because they place students in a relational environment, internships ought to be considered an integral component in the Bible college curriculum. This project concludes with an overview of an internship program designed for the preaching department of Boise Bible College. The syllabus, handbooks, and other internship materials are included in the appendices.
