Abstrakt

The project established a system for discovering and deploying volunteers. The nature of volunteerism and the theological basis for ministry were researched. The project involved a two-sided emphasis. First, a computerized ministry file was developed for aiding church leaders in discovering available volunteers. Secondly, a ministries notebook was developed to aid potential volunteers in discovering available ministry positions. A procedure was implemented for the use of both tools. The effectiveness of the project was measured by a ministry involvement test given at the beginning and end of the project.
