  • There are few trained leaders for the current and future Conservative Baptist provincial churches in Mindano, Philippines. To meet this need, a one-year, certificate level, ministry-oriented, low cost, schedule-sensitive, Filipino-lead church leadership training program was developed for lay leaders of provincial churches. The certificate of church planting ministries program was based on a detailed philosophy and rationale for reaching the masses. The eighteen-step curriculum design plan incuded a task analysis to determine goals and objectives and a survey of leaders to determine what topics were essential for the target students. After one year of field testing the nine one-week seminars, with thirty-seven students, a summative evaluation was conducted and the program adopted.
