Some people who receive healing for emotional hurts through inner healing prayer relapse into past wounding behaviors. The effort relapse is first on the one who relapses. The second effect is on the healing community, especially the people in healing ministry who pray with them. The theological perspectives of Barth, Luther, Leanne Payne, Thomas Oden and Miroslav Volf are considered. the problem of relapse in inner healing was examined through the journaling of ten people who documented their relapses.
