  • Concern has been expressed as to the status in Christ and the growth of the thousands of new believers in China. Will a course which teaches the foundational truths of Christianity, appeals to their culture, and suits their present environment help them? An introductory course was tested with a group of Chinese migrants in Australia. Written quizzes, questionnaires, and interviews would indicate that participants understood the fundamental truths taught, and showed interest in studying the Bible and knowing Jesus personally. The thesis has two major underlying principles. Evangelism and discipleship should not be separated. People should be taught Genesis to Christ from the outset.
