Abstrakt

This doctor of ministry project concerned the training of a task force of Baptist music leaders and pastors from Semarang, Indonesia, in the area of church music and the use of music in worship. The eighteen task force members were required to participate in a music and worship workshop with their church and one other church in order to immediately apply what was learned during the training course. The task force members, the church leadership and the project writer worked together in establishing each church's goals for improving their music ministry. The same people evaluated what was accomplished through the training sessions and the church workshops. The same plan and materials will be used for teaching church music in other Baptist churches and associations in Indonesia.
