Abstrakt

The goal of this project was to evaluate the Peace training program aimed at preparing laypeople to do evangelism through small groups formed out of a local church. The participatory group and the control group answered a specially prepared inventory, the Small Group Evangelism Scale, before and after the training class. The results of the class based on the scale indicated that the class was viable. The theological and theoretical dimension of the project researched the biblical basis for doing small group evangelism and the contribution the discipline of group dynamics provides for this kind of small group experience.
