  • The project thesis was to equip parents of grade-school children in basic principles of Christian parenting. To identify and define parenting principles, the descriptive and historical methods of research were used. Selected parents participated in an eight-week training seminar. Experimental and descriptive methodology was the basis of pretest/posttest evaluation of a control and experimental group. Statistical analysis indicated the experimental group demonstrated significant levels of change after the training. The participants continued in a seven-week seminar to design a program for applying the parenting principles. Independent expert observers analyzed the five activities and verified the program credibility.
