Abstrakt

The curriculum development project is based on a ten-year community-focused ministry established to provide support for persons grieving the loss or death of a loved one or close friend. The small group curriculum provides a meaningful tool for pastors and caregivers, equipping them to respond to the needs of grieving people. The curriculum was field tested in a rural community with limited professional counseling and community resources. The curriculum seeks to equip pastoral and community leaders to assist grievers in coping with loss, reconciling the losses of life and integrating these losses in daily living.
