Abstrakt

Some members of Southern Baptist churches do not grow up with Southern Baptist backgrounds. They have limited Southern Baptist experience. This project is designed to help these church members cooperate as Southern Baptists. Experimental and control groups were tested on knowledge, attitudes and involvement in Southern Baptist polity and the Southern Baptist cooperative program. The experimental group was trained in six two-hour sessions in these areas. Both groups were tested at the conclusion of the sessions. The results showed that the experimental group improved significantly in all areas of testing.
