  • This dissertation examines the relationship between David Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory (ELT) and the learning styles of postmoderns. The Seven Festivals of Israel in Leviticus chapter 23, served as the catalyst for this project. Two groups of postmoderns participated in an 8-week study of the festivals. The first group learned from traditional lecture-style lessons and the second explored more kinesthetic avenues of learning the material. In the analysis of the research, conclusions were made and Experiential Learning was determined to be a very effective mode for teaching postmoderns and showed great potential in getting students to internalize and personalize information.
