  • The purpose of this project was to create a resource to equip Nazarene pastors in North America to prioritize the spiritual formation of their own children. The premise was that pastors can easily and inadvertently neglect the spiritual health of their own children. A panel of clergy couples evaluated the resource, Pastoring First Church, on a Likert agreement scale questionnaire and with open-ended questions. This panel indicated that the resource met its goals based upon their high evaluations. The major finding was that the emotional health of the clergy couple was more important than their actions.
