Abstract
  • The project discovered the knowledge and use of research tools by diploma program students at the McCreary Center for African American Religious Studies in Cleveland, Ohio. The author obtained data from students at all levels of enrollment, using a Likert Scale survey to determine knowledge and use of the following tools: computer, interlibrary loan, electronic books (e-books), electronic journals, online catalogs, and other college and university library online catalogs. As a result, participants indicated high-level knowledge of computers, and average to minimal knowledge and use of information resources via today's technology. Participants also indicated knowledge and use of scholarly resources.
