  • This project explores the relationship of campus ministry, conscience formation, and environmental justice among Roman Catholic campus ministers in the United States, and offers a sacramental eschatology as an ecocentric framework for conscience formation and campus ministry. Campus ministers are environmentally aware and active, and they share a common understanding of conscience. They are challenged by obstacles to conscience formation and by the moral concerns of students. To meet these challenges the project presents practical suggestions for conscience formation, a meditation on Matthew 5:13, and a sacramental, eschatological vision for campus ministry.
