Abstrakt

This is a discovery project. Its purpose is to explore the cause and effect of pastoral burnout in the black Baptist church of the New Era State Baptist Convention of Georgia. It gathers questionnaire data from pastors within the state convention. The data collected and analyzed confirms discovery of the cause and effect for the state convention. The top findings for pastoral burnout were conflict in the church, traditional expectations, and the pastor's unfulfilled expectations, dreams, or visions.
