Abstrakt

This project develops a mentoring manual for men in the Bethany Baptist Church of Detroit and its Westside community. Men make up less than 30 percent of the population in Bethany Baptist Church. Therefore, this project will design, implement, and apply a mentoring manual by which pastors and leaders can mentor men in general, but specifically to African-American men in this context. The goal is to increase the attendance and participation of the men in the church and community.
