Abstrakt

The purpose of the project was to equip a selected group of layleaders of the Andrew Chapel Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi to lead in marriage counseling. The equipping program was implemented during a seven-week period under the direction of the pastor, who is also the project director. The equipping sessions introduced and defined marriage counseling and focused on specific areas of conflict within the marriage setting. The equipping sessions were intended to prepare the participants to lead in marriage counseling.
