  • Christian churches can overcome ethnic and social differences through shared ministry that fosters working together to create change in the social and economic environment of communities. Individuals were invited to participate in a study that dispelled strongly held feelings of distrust. Process for planned change was used to foster inclusion. Bible study sessions encouraged a reflection on God, a joint worship service was culturally inclusive, and an economic forum increased knowledge of financial empowerment.
