Abstrakt

The purpose of this professional research is to develop a program of training that will enable lay people to interpret the Gospels in their literary/historical environment. Methodology was to study the Gospels and compare them to ancient biographical literature with its smaller literary forms. A textbook/workbook was created and evaluated through a professional ministry project. The results are that lay people are able to develop skills in biblical interpretation.
