Abstrakt

The project was a study of various churches in an attempt to discover key components in an effective administrative structure. The author, through the use of qualitative research, discovered that a church administrative structure that has spiritual leaders, i.e. elders or equivalent, as its prime-leadership team is generally more effective for churches over five hundred members. This project will assist the church leader who is concerned to make a transition from a traditional church board structure to a ministry system that is streamlined, action-oriented and purpose-driven.
