Abstrakt

This Doctor of Ministry project applied the performing arts of drama, clowning, mime, puppetry, and interpretive dance in creative and innovative ways to evangelize the unchurched on the streets of Gordon Heights, New York. Group leaders were trained for this ministry who in turn trained other performers. For several months, alsmost every Saturday, the performing arts evangelistic team witnessed Christ to audiences on a street corner at a shopping strip. The members of the group believe that the outreach helped to change the lives of some of the people on the streets and hope that they too will evangelize to others about Christ.
