  • The purpose of this study, as part of a group dissertation project, was to describe the relationship between church health and church growth focusing on the specific characteristics of empowering leadership and passionate spirituality. The particular context of this study was General Association of General Baptists. The participants were given a researcher-designed questionnaire. The findings of this study demonstrated a positive relationship between church health and church growth. Spiritual disciplines, church and personal demographics proved to have a positive relationship to the perceived health of the individual congregations.
