  • The author intended to develop an infant baptismal curriculum that conveys a theological and spiritual impulse to both the baptized infants and their parents in Korea. Having historical and theological observation, he proposed a new curriculum, which has the four-fold method of refinements that makes infant baptism meaningful: from a passive to an active motivation; from a nominal to a practical orientation; from short-term to long-term aims; and from a haphazard to a systematic infant baptism curriculum. In its preliminary test, the proposed curriculum was proven to be viable enough to make one's infant baptism memorable while it successfully emphasizes the importance of the parent's leading role in the development of the infant's faith.
