Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to equip selected students involved in the Baptist collegiate ministry at Henderson State University to share the gospel with their peers using outdoor recreation. The project director began the project with research. Equipping the selected students concluded the project. Research included evangelism strategies and outdoor recreation that fit the context of the generation and local college campus. Upon completion of the research, the project director designed and implemented training to equip the selected students to use personal evangelism skills in conjunction with outdoor recreation. By training students in evangelism and outdoor recreation, students should be confident enough in their evangelism and trip-leading abilities to be able to invite their peers on a similar experience.
