Abstrakt

Because people are searching for connection with others everywhere in life, local churches have an opportunity to reach the lost Jesus Christ through relationships. The purpose of this project is to help churches learn how to build that spiritual community so that unbelievers will believe and the hurting can find peace. The author researched current literature on community and small group ministry, and interviewed successful practitioners in the area of community development. The research revealed that a church can take specific steps to build spiritual community.
