  • This project sought to bring about agreement to the shape of blended worship through consensus building. The congregation of Spring Valley Baptist Church had indicated a polarization as to its shape of blended worship. Its Church Council was used to bring about unity as to its shape of blended worship. The Bible, history, and ministry context were used as foundations for discovery. Consensus building was used as the methodology. Robert Webber's Twenty Principles validated the outcome as truly blended worship. The Church Council came to consensus as to what should be, could be, and should not be used in blended worship. Consensus building helped give shape to the present and future worship of Spring Valley Baptist Church.
