Abstrakt

Venture in Faith is a legal third-party corporation uniting in a covenant relationship Faith Lutheran Church and The Church of the Holy Cross, an Episcopal congregation. This project documents the process of cooperation between the governing bodies of the two congregations to form this covenant agreement and the mutual ministries they share. Venture in Faith shares the physical facilities and several programs. The study explores difficulties encountered in reaching the agreement and also current concerns. It projects future possibilities for mutual mission. This would be a helpful document for congregations considering a covenant relationship with another denomination.
