Abstrakt

In response to the Korean church losing its impact upon the world due to preoccupation with membership growth, the author suggested a possibility of healthy church growth through a discipleship training program (CFSM) at Incheon Heuindol Church which focuses on Christian character, faith, service, and mission. The survey was conducted before and after the training program among 30 new church members and 30 lay leaders. The result shows that both new church members and lay leaders experienced positive changes in learning to live as Jesus' disciples through CFSM which led to healthy growth of the church.
