Abstrakt

This project enlists, motivates, and prepares members of First Baptist Church (Carrollton, Tex) to participate in the missions ministry of the congregation. In 12 one-hour sessions members learn biblical bases for missions and discover individual identity as ministers, identifying personality strengths and spiritual gifts, in order to write a personal mission statement. In most sessions participants complete worksheets and discuss them in small groups. In these activities church members realize a new paradigm of ministry and personal participation.
