Abstrakt

This project proposes a process through which members of Love Zion Baptist Church (Columbus, Ohio) become more sensitive and responsive to needs of the suffering community at large, internally and externally. The project arranges 15 structured field visits--focusing on hunger and incarceration--to enhance sensitivity of members toward suffering, framing these experiences in Scripture, theology, and the response of participants.
