Abstrakt

The author used this case study to answer the question: what kind of ministry will assist the Baltimore-Washington Conference's Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministry Team to restore justice to those incarcerated and returning to our communities and their families? The study documents the establishment of the Criminal Justice & Mercy Ministry Team, the identification of an appropriate resource, and utilizing that resource to train churches to become stations of hope. The study concluded that returning citizens are more likely to have a successful reentry if they are given adequate support.
