Building the foundations for a multicultural congregation is a participant-observer process that requires some clear theoretical constructs to guide the transformation of a congregation's identity. Since the biblical record provides diverse perspectives on multiculturalism, scripture must be excavated for a vision of multiculturalism as a faithful response to God.
