Abstrakt

This dissertation is designed to introduce a manual that will mobilize lay people to start new churches. The purpose for creating a manual which utilizes lay people in starting a church are found to be: biblical and cultural mandates for such a ministry, lay peoples vital roll in expanding God's kingdom, and literature inappropriate for the lay person in church planting. The study concluded through survey that three groups of lay people were profoundly affected by their use of the manual allowing them to function more effectively in the church planting process.
