  • The purpose of this project was to measure and compare the image of God in a select group of Seventh-day Adventists. The method was to survey 100 indivduals using the Lawrence Image of God Inventory. The two targeted groups were blacks born in America and blacks born in the West Indies. The results of this study showed young people between the ages of 11 and 19 more accepting to the gospel message, scoring highest on the Presence and Acceptance scales. It also showed baby boomers in their 40s accepting when given a chance to discuss and dialog. The Expressive worship style was more productive than the Conservative style in winning converts.
