Abstrakt

This project presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a small-group experience for spiritual guidance. The history and praxis of each of the spiritual disciplines are developed. A plan for ministry is presented for an eight-week small-group process which allows for a time of gathering together, a presentation of material for the discipline to be practiced during the following week, time for sharing the previous week's experience, a time for members to share concerns or celebrations, and a time of prayer. This plan is helpful in developing and strengthening an understanding and practice of specific spiritual disciplines.
