  • This is a written report of a model developed and implemented to integrate English-speaking ethnics into the base congregation of Glad Tidings Assembly of God of Santa Clara, California. Theologically supported, the model used education, communication, and social psychology disciplines. Classes, discussions, and social activities over five months formed the model. Caucasian church members, ethnic adherents, and unchurched ethnics of the local community participated. It was effective for increasing ethnic growth in the church. Increased cultural knowledge and understanding motivated Caucas to ethnic outreach. It is an innovative, pragmatic model for indirectly evangelizing a culturally diverse community.
