Abstrait

The purpose of this project was to equip selected members in the Santa Fe River Baptist Association, High Springs, Florida, in marketplace evangelism skills. The project director began this project with a discussion with Dr. Wayne Harvey, Director of Missions of the Santa Fe River Association, by researching the field of evangelism, and by the administration of a survey in High Springs, Florida, to determine if churches are doing marketplace evangelism. The project director researched various evangelism materials to determine which evangelism skill development would have the most potential to be effective in marketplace evangelism. After reviewing the literary work in the field of evangelism, analyzing the results of the survey, compiling a list of evangelistic skills, and the development of a comparison grid, the project director developed a curriculum and a one-day workshop, and trained selected members in marketplace evangelism skills. The project director used an expert evaluation, student evaluation, pretest and post-test to analyze his ability to write a curriculum, to train selected members, and to improve his marketplace evangelism skills.
