- The project utilized a novel concept of spiritual giftedness to revitalize a failing inner-city church. Chapter 1 identified the challenges facing the church and defined the project's purpose. Chapter 2 explored the biblical concepts of spiritual gifts with special emphasis on the implications of spiritual possession and its relationship with the individual personality. Chapter 3 articulated the implications of using the Enneagram personality typologies as a tool for liberating the spirit within the individual. Chapter 4 outlined the Spiritual Gifts Workshop used to implement the program. Chapter 5 evaluated the effects of the workshop within both a short-term (six week) and long-term (five year) framework. The analysis showed poor response over the short-term but significant positive effects long-term.
