Abstrakt

Every Christian church must constantly adapt her expression of the Lord's mission to the situation in which she has been placed. The aim of this project is to give an urban community church a new set of goals for future ministry. The methodology is a congregational self-assessment in which every member is invited to take part in an evaluation of the church's present ministry and in setting of goals for the future. People tend to support what they helped to create. Eventually, a set of specific, achievable and measurable goals provided a local church better chances for success.
